The Mileage Estimator is a feature that will calculate mileage between locations for each day. This can be useful for office personnel who make multiple trips during a day and need to generate a mileage report for reimbursement. Here's how it works:
When you are on a schedule, click on "Change" for errand miles.
A list of "Locations" will generate based on the schedules for that day.
Starting with your Home location, click each one in the order of where you traveled next. As you click on each location, it will be added to the Routes. If you make a mistake, you can click on the item in the Routes to remove it.
When finished, click on "Generate" and a summary of each trip's miles will list.
The miles will include a deduction for your normal, round-trip, miles from home to the office.
You should always start with your "Home" location. Each selected Route represents where you go to next. Let me illustrate with a couple of examples.
You go to the office and have a home visit for Client A and then go back to the office and then go to Client B and then go home:
